North Shore Thoracic Outlet

A small, private place for people living with Thoracic Outlet Syndrome on the North Shore to find each other.

Pain makes plans hard. So does explaining, again, why you cancelled. Here everyone already understands, so nobody needs the explanation.

How it works

  1. Tell us a little about yourself. A short form: your name, how to reach you, and whatever you'd like to say.
  2. Andrew phones you. It's a conversation, not an interview — mostly to know you're a real person who'd like some company. At the end of the call you get a passphrase: three words, read to you over the phone.
  3. Come in. See who else is here and what's on — a coffee, a short flat walk, an afternoon of board games. Go to what suits you and skip what doesn't. Nobody keeps track.

If a phone call is hard for you, tick the box on the form and Andrew will write to you instead.

What this isn't

Not a forum, a support group or a health tracker. There are no messages, no notifications and no reminders. It asks nothing of you.

What do you think?

Andrew reads every one. Please leave out health details and other people's names. A way to reach you is optional, only if you'd like a reply. Everything here is deleted when the preview closes, and no later than 31 December 2026.
